Open Sky Incubator Opening in Kitchener-Waterloo

Internet of Things

Congratulations to Open Sky Incubator as they get set to launch their new 15,000 square foot facility @ LOT41 — 41 Ardelt Place in Kitchener. The space is focused on IoT technology, business planning and financial services.

In a recent feature article in the Waterloo Region Record, Open Sky Incubator's founder, Emile McLean, talked about his focus on providing small businesses and people with big ideas a hand up.

“We really want to appeal to smaller companies who are just trying to get their feet planted and established,” said McLean. Instead of tying tenants to long term leases, Open Sky Incubator offers an opportunity for small businesses to rent spaces on more flexible terms.

The incubator will be about more than just space. Tenants and members can also participate in workshops and seminars designed to help them be successful in the IoT space.

TrustPoint Innovation is proud to support Open Sky Incubator. We'll be offering workshops to help IoT developers understand the need for security with ideas to design products where security is baked right in.

Don't miss the Open Sky Open House on July 18 from 5–9 PM. Get a tour, meet the team and enjoy some refreshments. You'll also learn about the upcoming workshops that can help your venture grow.
